At Wilson Stoneworks, we bring over three decades of experience in honing and polishing, diamond marble, and terrazzo restoration to homes and businesses throughout North Central Florida. Our roots go back to the demanding South Florida market, where we began in 1991 specializing in high-end marble and tile installation. By the mid-1990s, we were perfecting our craft on multi-million-dollar properties, where flawless execution was the standard.

This was unquestionably a challenging project: there was a substantial amount of glue from LVP and years of carpeting, plus significant spalling (craters/chips) from carpet tacks and an original wall being torn out that he meticulously and artfully repaired. There also was a large area in the entryway that had a concrete patch when a bathroom was added by the previous owner, which he smoothed down and made level with the floor. These floors unbelievably shine like glass now!
The job took a week to complete, the duration of which we were able to remain in the house. His initial prep work protecting the other rooms and walls from the slurry process was thorough and left no mess when he was done. For the larger spalling, he had filled the holes and used marble aggregate that perfectly matched the existing terrazzo. For the holes too small or shallow for the aggregate, he used indelible ink. Both of these repair types are practically imperceptible now.
Scott knows terrazzo floors and the patience that it requires: day after day, grinding, repairing, and burnishing with a special diamond polish for which competitors charge a high premium.
Scott was personable, professional, affordable, and totally committed to delivering a high-quality product. I’d unequivocally recommend Scott for any type of job, but especially for terrazzo restoration.
When we hired him, we had heard of him as a “word of mouth” referral, which I feel is the best form of advertising!
